On the
25th of MarchI wrote about the number of pages hosted on diffrent top level domains (TLDs) and yesterday I did a follow up on
that article.
If found out that most TLDs are increasing the number of pages hosted on them with only a few exeptions. I have always said that .nu is soon dead because of it's weird price structure and the latest data show that I'm correct:
The number of pages hosted on .nu domains are decreasing! Since my last check in March the number of pages have decrease by about 1,5 million pages!!!!
I'm still surprised about .org. They have a lot of pages hosted and I guess that all the up-comming non-profit projects like Wikipedia and AboutUs.org are the reasons for the second place for .org.
Keep up the good work .org!
In March I guess .eu was too new to have any results at all because I found no pages at all hosted on
.eu domains. Today it's diffrent. I found 6,5 million pages!
