Hi all , please can someone help me with a problem. I want to protect files in other folders on the same website as well as the original pages on the website (all pages are PHP), how do I do this using Cookie Password Protection version 1.1 All being able to using the same user name and password without relogging in. I dont want to go to 2.6 becuse I dont yet understand enough about MySLQ to run in on our server.

If there is a way of protecting files in folders as well as the original first tier can someone tell me how to do it in very very simple understandable enlgish?

Create a directory (for example members) and install Cookie Password Proteciton there.

Then create another directory inside members (for example foo). Instead of using the normal protection code you simply add ../ before protection.php. Like this:
