I have installed and activated the WP Email-to-Facebook Options and am trying to configure the settings page. When I get to the "Categories and email addresses" section, it looks like this:.

The problem is that I can't find a way to identify the categories.

I am using WordPress 3.2 - Could this be the problem?

Strange. You should see the categories instead of the code like that.

I've done a minor change to the plugin, lets see if that's working.

Thanks for the reply. I deactivated, uninstalled the previous version, then downloaded, reinstalled and activated the new version. That took care of the problem of not being able to see the categories on the settings page.

However, the plugin just isn't working. I have added the facebook page email address to all the categories and tried sending a post. The post shows up on WordPress, but not on the Facebook page.

I tried changing the Link Shortener Service to "Don't use any service to get short links" to see if it would work without the shortener service, but no luck there either.

Any thoughts?

It's working on the test blogs I've setup. make sure you spell the email address correctly since that's like the password (must be exactly as Facebook got it).

A suggestion could be to replace the email with your own email just to see if the server is sending any emails. Then you should get an email when you post in your blog.

Here is what I have tried

1. I have used the facebook email and sent an email from my Google Mail account. No problem, the update appears on my facebook page.

2. I replaced the email in the plugin settings with my own email. Here is the post that I entered

It would seem to me that there is a problem in the way the server is sending the email.

Any suggestions?

I've changed the plugin so the blog admin email is used as sending email address. Hopefully that will help.
