As you may know, our visitors, as well as our members, compose a very diverse community. People from all over the world are using the resources available on LPF. Therefore, I have been working on a couple of additions to the site to help peoples from all language groups understand the content on LPF.

The first is a ?page-translator?, provided by AltaVista search. From now on, at the bottom of every page you will find a small box you can click on to translate the whole page into one of several different languages. While I know that there will be errors, I am hoping that for the most part, this will help to further the understanding and communication of our members.

Second, I have setup several different language packs on the site. These will allow users to navigate and use the core parts of LPF from a language that they prefer. The languages that have been setup are: Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.

My hope is that these language tools will provide a better experience for our members as well as guests.

In addition to these enhancements, I have also added a ?Tutorials? section to the site. From now on, registered users will be able to browse and add links to our ?Tutorials? directory. Please note that this is a ?Directory? NOT the tutorials forum. The tutorials directory will be divided into different categories of PHP tutorials from other sites. If you find a PHP tutorial on another site that is detailed and useful please submit it to our tutorial directory so that others can benefit from the information. Please do not submit links to short or poorly written articles, and/or ADULT CONTENT sites.

I am also working on more features and lessons to come. If you have any requests for add-ons to LPF please post them in the ?Site Requests? forum. If you find major errors in any of the language packs please PM me. Thank you.
