I installed Cookie Protection 2.9 and it was working fine for about a year, now I get this message on the protected pages:

This site do not have a valid license key for Cookie Password Protection because of:

*

Please contact the site owner for more information.

I guess that it might be that the licence for cookie protection only lasts for one year, but I do not find anything about this on the xaviermedia.com website. Do you know any other obvious reason for this error?

Upload unlock.php and run it. That should solve your problem.
