No Email or user added to db after successful PayPal Payment

I don't know why you get that error. Could it be bacause you may have to verify your paypal account or could it be that you must have a business account?

You don't need to have a business account but your paypal account must be able to send IPN requests to another server.

If you visit the paypal.php script with your web browser do you get an error email sent to the email address found in settings.php?

Looks like PayPal changed something in their code

Replace

foreach ($HTTP_POST_VARS as $key => $value)

with

Code:

foreach ($_POST as $key => $value)

Just noticed that there are more that needs to be changed

Search for $HTTP_POST_VARS and replace with $_POST that should do the trick.
