I have today made a new forum and I am wondering where to go with SEO, it is on a subdomain (Forum.MYDOMAIN.co.uk)

Can anyone help with advising me on how best to get a PHPBB forum to the top of the search results

It's not that easy if you use phpbb3 since there are still way too few good MODs to have a good optimized forum

However to do the best of the situation we use in this forum the SEO MOD by Francis Lewis from
http://startrekguide.com and the sitemap MOD by http://www.Greensboring.com.

Two so important things should be built in as standard features. I have no idea why the development team at phpBB don't do it

Anyway your signature may be violating out rules here in this forum (I changed the rules to a global announce so it will be easier for everyone to find them). I suggest you change the signature.
