Adding new users through admin just doesn't take.

I just did a clean install of 2.8 and I had no problems adding people in the admin area. Try upgrading to 2.9.

I found out that the new users being added are not the problem. What is, is the "View Users" screen in the Admin area is not showing all the users!?!?!?

I have two windows open, one the View Users window from my site and the other my PHPbb database sheet. The ghost profile is listed plain as cake in the latter but eerily missing on my site.

And, yes, poor user name Chel can log in.
