 Post subject: Admin Area not working
PostPosted: Fri Mar 03, 2006 4:30 am

Points:

Everything is working ok I think, but I can not make any changes on my admin page. It keeps going back to the login. I tried to reenter my user/password there just in case but then that takes me back to the admin panel and if I try to change settings, view users, or anything else it takes me back to the login. It's just a complete loop everytime. Could there be a problem with the settings.php I edited? I have double checked it and it appears that all the links are correct.

Any suggestions....oh I have read through this forum, the archived, and the readme file.....

Looks like a problem with register globals. You need to change the setting for register global in settings.php or turn register globals on for your server.

Here are some more information on register globals:

I tried that last night and it still wasn't working. I know it's something I've done since no one else is really having this problem....I just can't figure what.

It's working now. I guess it just took some time....

Maybe it's a cookie problem. Change cookie domain to the domain name you use CPP on:

Code:
// Cookie path. Usually /
$CookiePath = "/";

// The domain name where the cookie will be used
$CookieDomain = ".sampleaddress.com";
Simply remove www from your domain name and just leave the dot (.)
