I'm trying to add an automatic date when inputing data to a table.

I've found timestamp and used it as a table type but i only would like the date and not the time.

Would you suggest using this method or inputing the date through the input form?

I would use it in the script and not via the input form. Try something like this:

This code will only use the date and not the exact time like time() do.
