I've been a member on this forum for awhile now and back in the past this forum used to get a lot of search engine traffic but seems like the forum get's very little.

I post in the advertising section and not many threads in there get viewed by search engine bot's. Is there an issue internally with the forum software?

Seem's like the SEO mod does nothing to me. Seem's like i'm wasting my time posting on this forum. Ton's of data entry posts in the advertising section. Isn't there a sticky about anyone posting those types of threads/posts will get banned?

Does any staff actually do maintaince on this forum besides show up a little to perhaps put fresh content on the forum? Some nice articles few times a week would get google bot all horney.

Eh, sorry for the rant, i get google alerts when my domain is posted or for certain keywords and i've never got a notification from this forum. Ok, i'm done with rant and delete thread if you don't care.

Unfortunately since we converted the forum to phpbb3 from phpbb2 we've had that problem :(

In the conversion we had to change SEO mod which caused all old posts including the forums to not work as they used to so SE got 1000's of 404 pages and dropped almost anything on forum.xaviermedia.com. In other words we had to start all over again :(

Then we haven't found any good sitemap mod for phpbb3.... we're still searching and hopefully that will speed up the indexation of this forum.

Some articles may be a good idea and I well see what we can produce.

/Andreas
