protection.php not working -

Hi!
I would like to test drive the free version of Cookie protection. After I downloaded and extracted the files I opened protection.php and it's just a bunch of random characters. All of the other scripts seem to be fine.

This is an example of what I get:

Well I spoke/typed to soon. I have the same exact problem with the protection.php I just purchased. What can I do?

It's no problem at all with the file. The script looks like that!

Oh ok. I figured something was wrong b/c it said to change the username/password in the free version using that file and I couldn't find it....but ok
