Hi there

Quick question. Cookie Password Protection 2.8. Can it send a member to there own members page, which no one else can get too without that username and password?

For example, if the logoin and password where Charlie and Brown and he logo's in can he go to a page called Charlie Brown and see just his own files?

Thanks for your help
John

Search in the forum and you will find a solution. I think this question has been answered at least 10 times.

Hi Andreas.

Sorry about this but, I need to set up a login page which looks like the rest of the site. I have read in other postings and you also have said to copy the login page and then place it within the page which I have done but it still wont go anywhere, it Just shows the same page. What am I doing wrong? any help please.

On the login page - do I need to put <? include("protection.php"); ?> even though it is a PHP page already?

Regards
John

PS I think I have the One User - One Page sorted by reading the posts you sent me to look at. Thanks for that Andreas

Hi Andreas.

Just seen this at the top of the page, maybe this will shed more light on it!

No user file found! -

Your thoughts

No, you don't need the protection code at the login page since this page should be viewed by users who are not logged in yet.

You have placed the user pages in the wrong directory or you don't have a user file for the user name you logged in with.
