Customize Admin/settings pages background

I am using the Cookie Password Protection 2.8 script and would like to centralize the background settings on the web pages. I have added the following lines to settings.php:

//$PageBackground = " bgcolor=\"#FFC6A5\"" ;
$PageBackground = " background=\"images/seamless_bg.jpg\"" ;

I then added $PageBackground to the <body ...> tag of all the pages. This way I only have to change the background color or image in one place. It seems to be working on the web pages. For the login, logout, etc. pages I added $PageBackground via the settings page but it doesn't get picked up correctly. When I view the page source on the browser it displays:

<body $PageBackground>
instead of
<body background="images/seamless_bg.jpg">

Is there a way of correcting this.

You can't use variables in the login, logout and the invalid login pages. I suggest you use style sheet instead.
