I often experience this when I try to search from yahoo and google the page rank of different site is different.I thought yahoo is power by google?

Yahoo's search results was powered by Google, but it isn't any more.

MSN do not use Google, they have developed their own search engine from scratch.

I have just discovered that Yahoo really sucks. I ordered some PPC advertising on the 2nd of January and they have still not fixed all the problems with my advertising account.

First they gave me a Fast Track proposal in the wrong language, then they gave me one for the wrong web site....

After that they over-charged my credit card 3 times and sent me an invoice in German (I live in Sweden and ordered advertising in UK). After 3 complaints about the invoice they finally sent me an invoice in english.....

On their web site they claim to give away €50 as a bonus to all new advertisers, but so far they have refused to answer when I will get this "bonus"

Google and Yahoo like Obama and Macan . There algorithm are different.

Google Is better than Yahoo. There algorithm is different. If you create a new site with unique content and submit to Yahoo and Google same date, you can see the traffic difference of Yahoo and Google.

I will actually have to change my vote on Google to Yahoo since Yahoo got a much better API you can use even for commercial projects. They are also planning to add a revenue sharing thing into their API so if you use it to build a search engine both you and Yahoo will get some extra income.

Yahoo is not powered by Google. PR (Page Rank) is a concept of Google its not related to yahoo.
